Gonzalo Tanoira

Gonzalo Tanoira is Chairman of the Board of Directors of San Miguel. He was formerly Chairman of the Board between 2010 and 2013 and has been a Director since 2003. Prior to that, he was General Manager of the fund MB Holding SA, from 1999 to 2010, and Partner at Booz Allen & Hamilton, with responsibilities in Argentina, Chile and Brazil. He has also worked as Financial Analyst for Bear Stearns & Co Inc. investment bank based in New York City. He is currently Financial Director of the mining company Patagonia Gold PLC and non-executive director at SADESA. 

Mr. Tanoira earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Universidad de Belgrano (UB) and also holds an MBA issued by Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.

Martin Otero Monsegur is Vice Chairman of Directory at San Miguel since 2016. Martin Otero Monsegur has been a Director at San Miguel S.A. since 2007. He is also part of the Board of Directors of Ganagrin S.A., an agriculture and livestock company. He worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Co. from 2003 to 2007, in both Latin America and Europe. Miguel Crotto

Miguel Crotto has been a Director at San Miguel since 2009. He is also Vice President of Central Puerto S.A. and has been a Professor at the Bachelor's degree program in Economics of Universidad Católica Argentina since 1974. 

He was President of Águila Saint from 1978 to 1986. In 1988, he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Argentine Bank of Development (Banco Nacional de Desarrollo), where he served for term of one year. From 1993 to 1995, he was Undersecretary of Business Management at the Secretariat of Finance of the Ministry of Economy. 

He was Vice President II of the Bank of the Argentine Nation (Banco de la Nación Argentina) and Vice President of the retirement and pension fund administration company Nación AFJP from 1995 to 1999. In 2001 he provided advisory services to the President of the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic (Banco Central de la República Argentina, BCRA). In 2002 he joined the Executive Committee of Sedesa, on which he served for three years. He served as Treasurer at SRA from 2002 to 2006 and as Deputy Treasurer between 2006 and 2008. 

Mr. Crotto holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics issued by Universidad Católica Argentina. He was awarded a scholarship sponsored by the Italian government to study international finance at the Banco di Roma.

Agustín Otero Monsegur has been a Director at San Miguel since 2009. He has also been a Director at Ganagrin SAAG since 2002 and was CFO of this company from 2002 to 2004. He worked for United Technologies Corporation (NYSE: UTX) as a member of the program on Leadership for Finance and Operations in the United States and after that, as a Strategy and New Business Manager for the Spain and Portugal operation, between 2006 and 2008. Pablo J. Pereyra Iraola was appointed Director of San Miguel in 2017. Currently and since 2017 he also serves as General Director of Operations at the Sustainability Guarantee Fund of ‘Anses’ (National Agency of Social Security). From 1991 to 2006 he worked at Merrill Lynch Argentina, Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith in New York and in London as Director of Fixed Income and Derivatives Trading in Emerging Markets. He worked in Buenos Aires for JP Morgan Argentina as Executive Director in the area of Emerging Markets trading until 2012. Mr. Pereyra Iraola has a degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA).

Pablo Taussig has been a Director at San Miguel since 2008. He was formerly a member of the Board of Directors of Milkaut and President of the Christian Business Leaders Association (Asociación Cristiana de Dirigentes de Empresa, ACDE) and at present is a member of its Board of Directors. He is also Treasurer of the Argentine Society of Culture (Sociedad Argentina de Cultura) (San Pablo School). 

In 2005 he joined Spencer Stuart and, since 2007, he has been in charge of their office in Buenos Aires. He is currently in charge of Financial Services for Latin America. 

From 1991 to 2005, he held several executive positions at Merchant Bankers Asociados S.A. (MBA)- he was Director of Investment Banking from 1991 to 1994 and Executive Director from 1994 to 2001; he also held the same position in the Asset Management Division from 2001 to 2005. At Banco Francés del Río de la Plata, he was Investment Banking Manager from 1987 to 1990 and was also Manager of the International Division for a year, until 1991. 

Mr. Taussig earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA), he has a Master's degree in Economy issued by the University of Notre Dame and, in 1996, completed the executive program 'Tuck School of Business'.

Cristián López Saubidet has been a Director at San Miguel since 2011. From 2008 to 2011 he was deputy Director at the company. Additionally, he is CEO of the mining company Patagonia Gold S.A. and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2008. Cristián is also a Director at other companies in Argentina. Alejandro De Anchorena was appointed Director at San Miguel on April 24, 2014, after serving as Deputy Director since 2013. His previous track record includes positions in Unilever Argentina and Ford.

Luis Roque Otero Monsegur

Luis Roque Otero Monsegur belongs to the Board of Directors of San Miguel. He held this position in a previous tenure, between 2007 and 2010, and has been a Board member since 2002. He is also a Director of Ganagrin S.A. He was a member of the Board of Directors of AVEX S.A. until October 2011 and a Member of the Board of Trustees of Universidad de San Andrés between 2008 and 2013. 

He was Director of Arcor S.A.I.C. and Chairman of the Board of Consolidar A.F.J.P., Consolidar Seguros de Retiro S.A., Consolidar Seguros de Vida S.A. and Consolidar A.R.T. 

He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Banco Francés del Río de la Plata S.A. since 1978, where he has also served on the Audit Committee and the Risk Committee since 1982. Four years later, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer and held this position until 1994, when he was appointed Chairman of the Board. He held this position until 1998. 

In 1976, he started the law firm Cárdenas, Hope & Otero Monsegur, and was a Senior Partner until 1987. During that time, he was a Director and member of the Executive Committee of Sud-América Cía. de Seguros de Vida, between 1977 and 1985. 

Simultaneously, Mr. Otero Monsegur was Vice President of the Argentine Bank Association (Asociación de Bancos Argentinos, ADEBA) and member of the Board of Directors of the Argentine Business Council (Consejo Empresario Argentino, CEA). Mr. Otero Monsegur earned his Law degree at Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA) in 1969, and in 1971 he was appointed Academic Secretary of the School of Law and Political Science of this institution. From 1975 to 1984, he was Assistant Professor of the chair of Commercial Law II.

Romain Corneille

Romain Corneille has been CEO at San Miguel since January 2014. He joined the company as a Director and served in this position for 7 years. He was also a member of the Board of Directors of Avex S.A. and Quickfood. He started his professional career in the Marketing division of Cheminter Delaware Inc. in New York City. In Argentina, he served as Director of the same company. Since 1995, and for five years, he has held different positions as director and executive at Grupo Nutricia and Sierras de Mazan. Later on, he joined the Miguens Bemberg Group, which he represented in different Boards.

Alejandro Lucas

Alejandro Lucas started working with San Miguel in 2001, serving as Regional Sales Manager. After being Country Manager in South Africa since 2010, in 2018 he has been designated International Business Chief Operating Officer (COO). Before joining San Miguel, he worked at Quickfood SA for four years, in the area of exports and sale of processed meat products to supermarkets. Alejandro is an engineer in agriculture and livestock production (U.C.A.) and holds a Master's Degree (MSC) in Business Management in Agriculture and Food Industries awarded by the Royal College (UK).

Martín Carignani

Martín A. Carignani joined San Miguel in 2015 as Country Manager for Argentina. Before joining the company, Martín worked at Quickfood S.A. / Marfrig for 14 years as General Manager and Sales Manager. Plus, in 2014 he joined the general management of Gorina S.A. Prior to that, he worked for CEPA S.A. where he served until reaching the position of Planning Manager, Production Controller and Sales Administration in the year 2000. 
 
Martin has a bachelor's degree in agricultural engineer (U.C.A. Córdoba) and holds a Master's Degree in Agro-Industrial Business Administration awarded by ESADE University (Spain) . Also, he has a Master´s Degree in Manager Development issued by UCC (Spain).

Maximiliano D'Alessandro

Maximiliano D’Alessandro is Chief Marketing Officer since 2018 and has the responsibility of leading the commercial, marketing and supplying strategy of the company. Previously, he was in charge of the Supply Chain Direction and the Processed Food Direction. In 2017 he had assumed the responsibility to manage in a unified way the commercial development of the company's different businesses.

Maximiliano D’Alessandro joined San Miguel in 2009. Prior to that he served at Wal-Mart Argentina for over 13 years, working in the Logistics division. During the last period he was Director of Logistics and Imports. Working for this company, he also gained expertise in international markets such as USA, Brazil, Chile and India.

Maximiliano has a Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Trade, attended the Top Management Program at IAE and took specialization courses on Supply Chain and Advanced Leadership Development in the USA.

Guillermina Maier

Guillermina joined a San Miguel in 2018 as Human Relations and Corporate Affairs Director. Previously she held the position of Talent VP in Guru&Publicar for the operation in Colombia, El Salvador, Panamá, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Ecuador, Argentina, Perú y Chile. Prior this, she was Human Resource Director for Hibu LatAm and held different positions in companies like Avery Dennison Corporation, Volvo Construction Equipment and Grupo Zucamor. Guillermina has a Labour Relation Degree (Buenos Aires University, 2001) and has a Masters on Business Administration (Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, 2007), as well as other postgraduate studies. Her main expertise are focused on organizational development and cultural transformation.

Fernando de Achaval Dotras

Fernando de Achaval joined the company in February 2011 as Head of Customer Service. At present he is Supply Chain and Technology Director, and holds this position since February 2014. 

In the past, he worked as Business Process Expert with SAP for almost 3 years, delivering process and technology consulting projects, and before that he was Customer Service Representative at Tetra Pak Argentina for almost 4 years.

Lucas Méndez Trongé

Lucas Méndez Trongé has been Sustainability and Institutional Relations Director at San Miguel since 2011. Before joining the company, he served as Communication and Marketing Director at IAE Business School of Universidad Austral for 6 years. 

Prior to that, for almost a decade, he was part of the External Relations team at YPF, where he became Media Relations manager, after the Argentine oil company was acquired by Repsol. Before joining YPF, he worked as business writer for the Economy Section of La Nación newspaper for 2 years. 

Lucas holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Communication issued by Universidad Austral, he completed a Master's degree in Business Administration program at IDEA and the Management Development Program at IAE Business School, among other training courses.

Sebastián Torres Posse

Sebastián Torres Posse

Sebastián Torres Posse is currently Fruit Production Director at San Miguel. He took this position after having worked in many sectors of the Company. 

During the first years, he focused on the Research, Development and Genetic Improvement area. Later on, he took responsibility for agricultural production and nurseries. In 1997 he was appointed Fruit Production Manager in order provide assistance to the various points of origin, such as Uruguay and South Africa. 

He is an agricultural engineer graduated from Universidad de Buenos Aires, and has completed a number of refresher courses and conferences, both nationally and internationally. He also provides advisory services to several institutions, such as Bishop Colombres Experimental Station (Estación Experimental Obispo Colombres) and the Argentine Institute of Seeds (Instituto Nacional de Semillas).

Patricio Aguirre Saravia

Patricio Aguirre Saravia

Within the company, Patricio served as Regional Manager of Corporate Finance, where he was responsible for designing and implementing the financial strategy for the three countries of action (Argentina, Uruguay and South Africa). 

In his new position, Aguirre Saravia will be responsible for managing the administrative and financial functions in the company, contributing to the successful implementation of the business strategy. 

Previously, Aguirre Saravia served at Citibank, both in Buenos Aires and New York, and for 6 years he was based in Texas working for the firm DELL Inc., of which he was Corporate Treasury Manager for Canada and Latin America until 2013, when he returned to Argentina. Patricio holds a degree in Business Administration from the Catholic University of Argentina, earned a Master of Business Administration from the Darden Graduate School of Business (University of Virginia) and performed the Management Development Program at IAE Business School in Argentina.

Andries Du Preez

Andries Du Preez

Andries du Preez has been the CFO of San Miguel South Africa since September 2011. He served in this position for just over 6 years until being appointed as Country Manager for South Africa in March 2018. He started his professional career at PwC in Port Elizabeth and was employed by PwC for 6 years before joining San Miguel. Andries is a Chartered Accountant of South Africa and graduated from the University of the Free State in 2004 and completed his Honours degree in 2005.

Alejandro Buratovich

Alejandro Buratovich joined San Miguel in 2014 as Country Manager for Uruguay, the country where he resides at present. Before joining the company, he worked as an independent consultant for companies such as YPF, JLC S.A. and Finca Natural for four years. He was also in charge of the General Management of La Salamandra S.A. Prior to that, he was General Manager at Celulosa de la Mesopotamia S.A. and at the textile company SNIAFA.
