The main purpose of the program is to provide an appropriate environment for people from different rural communities, especially women, to be able to capitalize on their skills, transforming them into production undertakings.

We believe that these women are the key agents to achieve the financial, environmental and social changes required for sustainable rural development. Therefore, we seek to provide them with tools, knowledge and guidance to generate income for their home, from their own resources, occupations and ideas.

The GERMINAR Program, which we implement with Fundación Cultural del Norte, is intended to empower women from the different communities adjacent to farms so that they may boost their skills and develop, also creating support for domestic economy.

  • A total of 24 workshops were held over the first 8 months of the program.
  • 120 women participated in this initiative.
  • 37 micro-undertaking projects have already been financed.
