This year, as every year, San Miguel has been present at one of the world's most important trade shows of the fruit and vegetable sector. An event to strengthen the relationship with customers and identify new business opportunities.  
For a sixteenth time in a row, San Miguel participated in the fresh produce trade show that is held in Berlin, Germany. With the participation of 2,884 exhibitors and an average of 70,000 visitors, ‘Fruit Logistica’ has become the meeting point for the entire spectrum of the fruit and vegetable sector.
An outstanding stand intended to show the diverse points of origin and sustainability as strategic value was the scene to present to partners and customers the new business structure and the new Strategic Sourcing Department for which Maximiliano D’Alessandro and Alejandro Moralejo respectively are responsible. These changes will bring tangible benefits to our customers as they are intended to consolidate the raw material sourcing strategy, achieve increased efficiency in the use of fruit and thus achieve greater satisfaction of product demand worldwide.
The new teams, together with the Country Managers, held intensive meetings where they shared the new organizational structure and the new product boxes intended to produce an improvement throughout the production process adding an advantage to the value chain. With more than 100 meetings scheduled with customers from North America, Eastern Europe, the Balkans, Russia, the Mediterranean, Greece and Asia, we continue working to build long-term strategic relationships and value propositions consistent with the market needs.
Romain Corneille, CEO of the company, also participated in the trade show and emphasized the importance of being present to the sector pointing out that “In a world where many changes are envisioned, we have big challenges and opportunities to boost our business platform and continue growing.”
