The company was honored with the highest award given by the multinational flavor and fragrance company Firmenich to its value chain.

In July, San Miguel participated, together with other 20 suppliers from around the world, in the 7th Supplier Summit of Firmenich, one of the world’s largest privately-owned companies in the fragrance and flavor business. San Miguel is part of Firmenich's ‘Vendor Relationship Manager’ group, which is composed of its strategic suppliers.

San Miguel achieved the highest score among all suppliers of the company, after being assessed in six dimensions: Conformity, Support, Delivery, Economy, Sustainability and Innovation. In the two last-mentioned categories, the company obtained its highest score, showing once again that the path to sustainable development and the efforts involved are recognized by the industry.

Pablo Britti Macagno, Oils, Scents and Peel Commercial Manager at San Miguel, received the award on behalf of the company from Bhavesh Shah and Gilbert Ghostine, CPO and CEO of Firmenich, respectively.

“San Miguel works every day to add value to our customers. We seek to build long-term relationships with them and offer solutions together to the market. This award is certainly a recognition for such commitment, which affirms our direction and makes us very proud”, said Britti.

Through the juices, pulps, peels and oils it produces, San Miguel is part of the value chain of thousands of consumer products globally. With products derived from its citrus, it is present in a wide variety of products such as beverages, perfumes and food.
